Quick trip to MX - on business to QRO and CDMX - and stopped by Hercules Canyon for a short period - and got lucky with both a Ferromex and KCSM.

Who said that cabooses are not used anymore on anything other than yard moves or "special" trainsets....lol.     So, the SB FXE stack train had a caboose on the rear - - and armed guards riding various cars (including the car directly forward of the caboose - you can see him and his rifle in the pics).    I am impressed with the caboose condition though - she has defintely been retrofitted.
