International Railroad Discussion > Logging train C176 (Brazil)Date: 12/01/24 13:27 Logging train C176 (Brazil) Author: pedrop Hi, today morning I could watch two trains running here in town. One of them was the VLI logging train C176. Here are some pics of it.
1) C176 passing through EVP yard with 84 flat cars of eucalyptus for Suzano cellulose plant in Aracruz, ES on Vale / EFVM system; 2) The train at Ribeirão da Mata siding (ERE); 3) At the ERE crossing level. Larry Date: 12/03/24 12:14 Re: Logging train C176 (Brazil) Author: tomstp I have often wondered why trains are usually running at slow speeds (10-20 MPH) and then after the first part this one really got his speed up, I guess around 40 MPH.
