Here it is the 8th and last part of my trip with the american railfans, what happened on August 19.
In our last day railfaning through the area served by VLI rr narrow gauge tracks, we were in search of the SD70ACe-BBs that work in the phosphate route in the West. The trains run from Salitre to Araxá cities. The trains use to be pulled by a trio of SD70ACe-BBs in a 1x1x1 configuration with 123 HAE class high side hoppers or GFE class gondolas. The sceneries of that route is very beautifull, and we can watch the trains running from sinuous tracks through narrow valleys to the flat lands of the grain plantations.

1) VLI 8364 during a crew change at Estevão Lobo siding (EPK) in the middle of a soybeam plantation;

2 - 3) Drone views of the train stopped for crew change.

7) The rear DPU of both loaded ore M966 and empty ore M961 crossing each other at Tamanduapava siding (ETM). The green and blue unit in the rear end train M961 is one of the two EMD SD70ACe-BB demonstrators rented to VLI;

8) Train M966 stopped for another crew change before enter Araxa yard (EAX). The reason is the train will sent direct to CBMM for unloading and the previous engineer had not sufficient time to stay in the train for this operation. So, it was better to put another guy with more time to stay inside the company with the train.

9) And here it is Jessica, the young woman that took the train to the unloading area inside CBMM Co.

13) The video. I had no way to record the sound of the train to edit this drone video. So I added a music to it. I Hope you like it.
