32424 is a new-build replica of a locomotive that was scrapped, so it never worked for BR. But its type was built in 1911 by the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway, which became part of the Southern Railway in the Big Four grouping of 1923.

34059 in its original form was built by the Southern Railway in 1947, the year before BR was created. It was rebuilt into the appearance shown here in BR days.

65 was built by the South Eastern Railway in 1896 and absorbed into the fleet of the merged South Eastern & Chatham Railway in 1899 (as lettered in the photo), which became part of the Southern in the 1923 Grouping.
