Now that I have my slides from last summer's (here) northern bash, this and a few more posts,  will show a bit of what's going on down here.

1.  At Talcahuano on 2/18/25,  I found former Alaska GP49 (now SD49) switching the container yard, as Fepasa RSD20 1809E readies to lead with empty celulose cars.  These were off-loaded at the port for export and will now return to various celulose plants.
2-3.   SD40M 3002W with loads headed for various export points in the Concepcion/Talcahuano port complex.  Photos both east of Laja.  2/4/05     The 3002 is the only one of their units in the darker blue color.
