International Railroad Discussion > Progress Rail GT46CU-ACe Gen III in AustraliaDate: 06/08/25 04:30 Progress Rail GT46CU-ACe Gen III in Australia Author: 9E56 Bowen Rail Company 3'6" gauge GT46CU-ACe Gen III locomotives 4609 and 4612 were leading Carmichael Mine to Abbot Point coal train BA23, with 84 x 106 tonne PHAH coal wagons, on the Briaba Bank on Wednesday 4 June 2025. The train weighed about 8,904 tonnes (9,815 tons). The GT46CU-ACe Gen III is the narrow gauge equivalent of the SD70ACe.

Hmmm, a quick google search suggests almost half (46%) of India's power generation is from renewable sources. That seems to put them ahead of the US. Edited 1 time(s).
