Author: march_hare I've been looking around for photo charter opportunities on the Patagonian narrow gauge lines. Lots of tour groups out there, but I haven't found any real, down and dirty photo charters.

Author: masterphots Garratt built in Switzerland for the former prison railway in Ushaia, Argentina (about as far south as one can get). I'd guess the original poster was asking about the Esquel line in Argentina (nearest city Bariloche). A regular railroad which is now a tourist operation. Also where they had the washout-caused roll over a couple of years ago. Paul Theroux dubbed this line the "Old Patagonia Express" as the title of one of his travel books.
