Two freighters crossing in EVP (Brazil)
Author: pedrop

On Agust 17, I watched two freigth trains crossing here in EVP yard. The C617 was a small train of ore cars coming from EWL shops and was leaded by three GE U20Cs.  It waited on track 1 for the coke train C655 coming on track 2.

1) U20C 2699, 2563 and 2583 going slowly on track 1 to wait for the coke train pass by track 2;

2) Some trucks loaded with new ties waiting to be unloaded;

3) The U20Cs stopped near the station to wait for train C655. In the background,  we see the yard switchers U20Cs 3813 and 3860 parked on track 4.

4) Some MoW equipments parked in the dead end near the station;

5) EFVM 1202 is the last BB40-9W wearing the old EFVM brown livery. It always nice to see it once more;

6) Ore cars and coal cars.

Those engines sound like a bucket of parts being thrown around.  But, they pull.
