I think they are original from the steam era. That railroad ended steam in 1984.
The railroad is managed by VLI railroad nowadays and they are doing a good maintenance program covering the tracks and the rolling stock.

BTW, I had no time to visit the roundhouse where a nice collection of narrow gauge Badwins are preserved.
