Wabtech of Brazil is producing 19 units for Australia

Wabtech of Brazil is working in order of 19 dual cab units for Australia. Two units will be tested here in my area on VLI narrow gauge tracks. The model is said to be C20ACi. Not sure for while.

1) The units inside Wabtech plant today early in the morning. Picture by friend William Guedes.

2) And here they are leaving Wabtech plant. I think tomorrow I can find them in my town.

Nice. Is that meter gauge network? Heard CBH in Australia had an order of 17 narrow gauge (1067 mm) on order.

Yes, the units are 1,067mm and two were adapted to 1,000mm to be tested on VLI tracks here inbthe Line through my town. They said it is an order of 19 units.

I had not time to see these locomotives for while. I intend to do it next weekend. There are many engineers working on them,  people from US, Brazil and India.
