Fepasa Chile old GE gets nose job

Los Andes, Chile 7/30/26.   Meter gauge servicing the Andino copper mine.  I'd guess the crews appreciate the roomier cab,,  which replaced the export model cab.

Definitely better than a "wide cab"... and look at those trucks !  Very nice.

I'm not used to the proportions and the lines of the cab and the front cab windows.  Reminds me of the ugly "Green Goat" gensets... but I'm just whining about personal taste.

They seem functional enough. Thanks for the reports (this and before) from Chile.

Maybe there is a relative from the Santa Fe Cleburne rebuild shop working down in Chile? Reminds me a lot of the Cleburne cab GPs and CF7s.

Bit more vision and space in the rebuild as compared to this cab
