Vale mining ordered new locomotives to replace the old BB40-9Ws used by EFVM rr in its narrow gauge system and Wabtec answered with the ES44BBW model. The production started and soon the first unit will be released. It is a heavy locomotive with 215 metric tonnes.

1) Last week I met a truck on the road near here with one of the frames. We can perceive how long it will be.

Well it is for a narrow gauge locomotive.
