Need more image storage with flexible storage and little hassle? Try the Drobo storage robot with FireWire. Data Robotics, Inc, introduced the FireWire 800 capable unit in 2008. I'm very pleased with its simplicity. The unit is very quiet. I currently have 2 Terra-bites installed.

Unit has USB or FireWire 800 plug and operate ability. No application software was required. I've started with two drives and can add up to four when I need more capacity. The multi-bay unit is displayed on your computer as one drive. The data bay indicator lights tell you how full the SATA drives are.
