Nikon, please enjoy a birthday cupcake. Careful with the candles.
Shot with a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 cell phone, auto mode, no flash, no enhancement.

Hopefully the release of the D850 will will reduce the price of the D810 enough that I can afford one. The D810 is a terrific camera.

Hopefully, the release of the new Samsung Galaxy will
reduce the price of ALL DSLR's!

I've seen some really impressive images with the latest
Galaxy "phone" and the results implied much bulkier and
much more expensive gear.

As for the D850 - rumors are as follows (which would be
quite impressive):

44 MP
BETTER both high and low ISO image quality
BETTER dynamic range - how's that even possible?
WIFI
Tilt /articulating screen
8 fps!!!! Though maybe not at full 44 MP.
Lit buttons
4K NON-cropped video
Hybrid viewfinder (mirrorless switchable)

And... perhaps upwards of $4,000.00 (ouch)

Can't wait to buy one used in 2019, lol.
