EPSON V500 Problem

I cannot get my EPSON 500 PHOTO scanner to scan slides. I had been scanning successfully and took a short break and started up again without changing any settings and it will not recognize slides. It sees them as a photo in a four slide adapter or even just one slide in the adapter. What can I do?

This happens to me all the time.

Turn the scanner off and shut down the software. Unplug the lid from the scanner body and reconnect. Start up the scanner and start up the software. That will usually fix the problem. However, one time I did have to remove and reinstall the software.

If?? same epson software as V700 in professional mode, need to set film with area guide.

If you are getting all four you should be able so select one slide with the selection too, forget what it is called.
