Railfan Technology > SD and CF card questionDate: 06/24/18 17:54 SD and CF card question Author: mully Hi all
I just got a new Nikon D810 and I need to upgrade my cards. What are the fastest ones out there? Not to much worried about size because I download quickly but would like larger than my current. What is everyone using ? Gary Posted from iPhone Date: 06/24/18 20:15 Re: SD and CF card question Author: MrTransportation Hi,
I use Lexar SD 633x 128GB and CF1066x 128GB cards and Use SanDisk Extreme or Extreme Pro 32 or 64 cards. Here some more information and choosing cards . Try to finding Lexar (SD Cards 633x or SD Cards 1000x) and CF 1066x any 16,32,64,128GB size and even 256GB cards, but their really expensive. Here are their speeds on all of these cards, CF cards at 160MB/s and SDHC/SDXC UHS-1 at 95MB/s or SDHC/SDXC UHS-II at 150MB/s, but 1000x will be same speed as 633x cards depending on Nikon D810 will allow you to use speed of your camera. Or can get Sandisk cards SanDisk Extreme or Extreme Pro Cards work as well. I use all of them on my Canon 5D Mark IV. Also look for deals from Bhphotovideo, Adorama, Uniquephoto for two of same card deals with SD and CF Cards. If have any questions leave me a message on trainorders and I will get back to you. It explains all the letters and numbers on the memory cards.

I use San Disk cards as well and am careful to us fastest possible in order to not slow down the camera's rapid fire shooting.
