"Splinter channels," NXDM modes now in use?
Author: K3HX

I'm curious to know if anyone on the list has heard  a  "splinter channel" or NXDM mode transmission.
If so, when and where and on what frequency was it heard?

Be Well,

I have not heard any activity on the splinter channels, but we have had some great band openings and I am hearing more and more NXDN digital activity from my house in South Austin on my Kenwood dual band radio.

Enough activity to start thinking about finding money for a NXDN capable scanner.

The only NXDN modulation I've heard is at the Transportation Test Center east of Pueblo. They're still using the normal band separation with NXDN modulation.
