Does anyone know of a good scanner for converting 8mm movie film to digital?

They do a rough color correction. I like their service a lot.
Unless you have a lot of footage, I'd use a service to convert, then edit in iMovie or whatever. I believe you'll get a better job than home digitizers mose poeple can afford.
