Railfan Technology > Google Earth went to sleep on my computer, anyone else?Date: 04/01/19 11:48 Google Earth went to sleep on my computer, anyone else? Author: railstiesballast For many years I have used and enjoyed Google Earth, including following rail lines, looking into yards, and planning trips.
I had downloaded the app and it ran from an icon on my toolbar (not a bookmark). Recently I upgraded it to GE pro version thinking that would perform better. About 10 days ago it simply stopped opening on my desktop, a PC running Windows 10. Some of the suggestions from their help FAQs say to get to GE through a Chrome link but I cannot seem to get a bookmark or other link to work. Has this happened to anyone else? If so how did you work around it? (cross posted to Western board) Thank you Date: 04/01/19 12:47 Re: Google Earth went to sleep on my computer, anyone else? Author: wister6813 I use Google Earth Pro on a daily basis. My desktop has Windows 10, and I’ve not experienced problems with GE Pro. I also run GE Pro on a 12 year old desktop with Vista.
Did you install from this link? https://www.google.com/earth/versions/ |
