Railfan Technology > no more pictures on my mp 4 video files

after this latest windows 10 update, i noticed a change on all of my mp4 video files.

prior to this latest window's 10 update, all of my mp4 video files had a picture from the video to identify them with.

after this latest window's 10 update, there are no more pictures from the videos to identify ALL of my video files.

any ideas on how i can change things back to get a picture on each of my video files?

Have you verified that the folder where the files are saved is displaying them in thumbnail format and not as a list?
I just recently updated Win10 and noticed that the folder with my mp4s all reverted to lists, but switching back to thumbnail view fixed that.

1. Click on "View" in the Menu of the folder with the Videos.
2. I use "Extra Large Icons" for my view.
3. Then in the same View Menu, select "Options" near the Right.
4. Click "Change Folder and Search Options".
5. Click the "View" tab.
6. Uncheck "Always show icons, never thumbnails".
7. Check the box next to "Display file icon on Thumbnails".
8. Click Apply and then Ok.

thanks christina.  all i needed to do on each folder was click 

-view
-large icons

problem is now solved.
