4014 HD Videos taking way too long to upload!

I took video using my smart phone in Full HD, (1920 × 1080), (not Ultra HD)
And after waiting 6 hours one night, it never completed. About 325MB for 3mins.
Should I convert it down to Regular HD? (1280 × 720) so it doesn't take so dang long to upload?
My current upload speed is about 1.0 to 1.7Mbps.

What device are you trying to upload the video to ?
