Railfan Technology > Train Dispatcher 3 Group IO?Date: 10/22/20 08:52 Train Dispatcher 3 Group IO? Author: dcorreia I am looking for the Groups IO for the people that have the old Train Dispatcher 3 game. I though it was "dispatchcontrol" but the group is no longer listed. Can someone point me to the right group? I might want to purchase some more territories. Thanks.

I am a member of that group, DispatchCenter (no space between the two words if that makes a difference). There are dozens of territories posted there for free, you might not need to purchase another territory again. Date: 11/07/20 09:22 Re: Train Dispatcher 3 Group IO? Author: BRAtkinson Just an FYI about Train Dispatcher 3...
I don't believe the former Signal Computer Consulants supports the program anymore. Also, I had to 'trick it' to install on Win 7 64 bit. When I upgraded in place to Win 10 64 bit, it ran fine. Unfortunately, I had to resort to a 'clean install' for Win 10 due to other issues. As a result, it's impossible to install TD3, and I'm a computer geek. That's now reason #4 why I keep my Win XP box alongside my Win 10 box due to incompatible or too expensive to upgrade software. One keyboard shortcut and my KVM takes me to the XP box whenever I want to. Date: 11/07/20 11:12 Re: Train Dispatcher 3 Group IO? Author: TAW Have a look at this
http://webrailroader.com/ctc/introduction/ In my opinion, it is better than TD3 and is current development and supported. TAW Date: 11/08/20 02:45 Re: Train Dispatcher 3 Group IO? Author: bobwilcox Date: 11/09/20 13:41 Re: Train Dispatcher 3 Group IO? Author: TopCat BNSF6400 Wrote:

In case you did not locate the DispatchCentral group, and / or for the record for future searches for others into past threads, the group is located on the Groups.io site. Groups.io has substantially replaced the old Yahoo Groups site for many small, special interest groups like this. The ATCS Monitor group has also moved to Groups.io. https://groups.io/g/DispatchCentral To access, you must join Groups.io first, an easy process at: https://groups.io/register You can then subscribe to the DispatchCentral group according to their membership procedures (or others, such as ATCS Monitor) from their page on the Groups.io site, using the link above. The Dispatch Central group allows open reading of messages in their group without subscribing / joining, so you can sample what they offer. But to download files you must subscribe / join. I am in the process of doing this myself. Thanks to those who commented in this thread and mentioned the DispatchCentral group. I was not aware of this group. I am a fan of the old Train Dispatcher software, and have lots of territories previously created back when Signal was still supporting the software. It will be good to get back in touch with it again. MC Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/14/20 04:36 by ironmtn. Date: 11/21/20 09:09 Re: Train Dispatcher 3 and Windows 10 Author: Railbaron I have read numerous posts on TO about how TD3 and TB3 will not load on a Windows 10 machine. Well, I have a brand new Asus laptop, less than 1 week old, and both TD3 and TB3 loaded and appear to work perfectly on this machine. I have Windows 10 Pro on this machine and beyond turning the computer on I have no technical expertise.
Having said that, I suspect many issues stem from users who don't have their "password" or "key", both of which are needed for installation. While the program is not actually supported, I believe you can still get the needed information as I think they have a presence on eBay (at least they did earlier this year). Edited 2 time(s).
