Version 4 has been "end-of-life'd" and is no longer officially supported, hence the security message. Whether there's actual vulnerability is anyone's guess, but you can still post despite the warning. Keep in mind that for other softwares you use, "security warning" is standard practice to suggest people to upgrade to a newer version, regardless of real security issues. I leave it up to the staff at Trainorders to take appropriate action. Personally, I don't get too concerned with Rat Race Upgrade Cycles, because retro-computing is a hobby of mine, and I deal with older software all the time. |
