Railroad Map Program
Author: TrainChaser

Back in the early 2000’s, there was a program called “North American Railroad Map for Windows” on a cd. It had its faults, but was still entertaining to look through. Is there anything similar out there that would be current and not necessarily web-based? Thanks.

Can't recco Rail Guide enough.
Mileposts, control points, detectors, everything.
Current, classic, and abandoned layers.
I only use the web page, one less app to eff with.

I use Rail Guide on my cell phone quite a bit.  One note that I will make about it, it can be sometimes slow to load and navigate if you are in an area with 4G service or less.
