Out in the desert near Palm Springs on the Yuma Sub, the headlights of an approaching eastbound light up the old SP signal bridge at Garnet.

Roughly a 140 miles to the northwest of the previous location, a southbound Roseville-Colton manifest illuminates the venerable cantilever signals in downtown Tehachapi.

And lastly, a couple shots taken one night back in July 2002 of Amtrak's 8th St. maintenance facility as viewed from the Olympic Blvd. overpass.

Thanks for the kind comments, folks. As for camera gear, most of these were made using a Canon 300D aka the "Digital Rebel". Older photos were made with either a Canon Pro90IS (i.e., Amtrak 8th St., Commerce Diesel) or a Nikon Coolpix 5700 (Hinda sunset). --Jim
