After Storm Reflections
Author: kevink

As the skies cleared Sunday evening, I headed over to the BNSF's Chicago Sub to see if I could make use of the post-storm lighting. I knew there would be at least one westbound Metra train. Rolling into the commuter parking lot west of the Downers Grove Fairview Avenue Station, I discovered that the west end of the lot and another part were under water.
This made for some good reflection opportunities as seen here with Metra 181 leading train 1319 westward after its station stop.

Before the Metra train, an eastbound Z train rolled by on Main 3.

Oooooh..... Those are beautiful photos!
Thanks so much for taking them and then
posting them here. Such smooth and
ripple-free water!
