Fellow TO'er binder001 and I got up before breakfast yesterday morning to hustle up to Omaha for some shots of UP 4141 and 1111 being moved to "Home Plate" for display during the College World Series.  1943 was along for an assist.

These shots are from a pedestrian overpass near the CHI Event Center on UP's river front line.  The sun was cooperating with us at this point!

....a couple more going away shots of 4141 and 1111.

We went through Fremont on the way back to Lincoln and got shots of UP 6638, CN 2176, and BNSF 5299 west of town with lotsa stuff.

Excellent coverage, my friend! And it's official: Seeing that 1111 thang again sent me running for my trusty aspirin bottle.

I do believe Alfred Hitchcock could have earned an Oscar with UP 1111 as at least a co-star... ;^)

It's 480 but I didn't know that it was called Gerald Ford Expressway (not an Omaha resident).
