CSX on Cajon Pass
Author: ssloansjca

At Frost, CA, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 11:15 a.m., a westbound 2+0 BNSF Railway (BNSF) double stack has CSX Railroad (CSX) 3416 and CSX 5240. CSX 3416 is a GE ET44AH. Reportedly: CSX 3416 was built by GE in 2017 as a ET44AH serial number 63744.

Very nice pictures.  I've always liked that view.  I thought a bridge ove the tracks was going to be built through it.  Gerry

And enjoy it I did, nice to see some local power in a distant land. Those are some really good photos.

I want to get that shot sometime; never been there yet but it's on the list.  Funny how it looks like it's out in the middle of nowhere but you look on Google and there's houses all around it.

Always nice to catch Chessie power.  Good photos.

Eveery time I've been in that area I've tried for that shot and NOT gotten it, so I am officially jealous of this sucess.  Thanks for posting.

We'll have to ride together Nick and give this spot top priority!

Very nice! I've seen perfectly-lit shots at Frost before, but rare to see a shot with pure pool power (no Pumpkins, no Armour Yellow).
