Arizona Day 4
Author: AndyBrown

Russ and I spent the night in Williams and soon after leaving the motel we saw a westbound Z-train going down the Peavine to Phoenix, so decided to chase it a bit.

1.  Crossing the Little Hells Canyon bridge south of Ash Fork.

2.  The Z-train met an mty ethanol train at the siding near Paulden.

3.  Ethanol mty on the Hells Canyon Bridge near the Drake.  Thanks to Russ's drone for this one.

4.  Northbound on the Little Hells Canyon bridge, from Hwy 89.

5.  Bullock Rd. south of Ash Fork.

6.  The mty met another Phoenix bound train at Ash Fork.

7.  Back to the main line, westbound bare table in the pine forest east of Challender (between Williams Jct. and Maine).

8.  Westbound east of Williams Jct. with Humphreys Peak north of Flagstaff in the distance.

9.  Another WB with the big lens this time.

10-12.  Another westbound, east of Williams Jct. with a nice break from the endless hordes of orange Gevos.

16.  Rear DPs on the grain train.

17.  The grain train was the last move before a big dry spell, but while I was walking out to meet Russ this eastbound came up the hill and things started moving again, but we were headed to the restaurant and motel.

Thanks for looking!

Andy

You did well, like Hell's Canyon Bridge and the Little Hells CB witht the train way back around the curve.
