Native of Dixon, Illinois and with fond memories of the Illinois Central Gruber Line and Chicago and North Western Geneva Sub. Moved to rural Nelson, Ill in 1984 adjacent to the CNW at NQ interlocking. Began shooting video 1988-1990 and sporadically since then. Over 21 hours of CNW, BN, SOO and a few excursions on tape from this era. I have transferred some to DVD. Currently live in Ladd, Illinois where the Illinois Railway LaSalle-Zearing branch runs across my backyard. I have eyes on the IR's Job 104 daily. |
