10001 Beech Grove through Emeryville,CA

Today's southbound Coast Starlight #11 through EMY,Ca. at 1218 hrs.was towing 2 PV's and the Amtrak executive car 10001 Beech Grove.
A gray haired gent was on the rear of the car taking in the sites.
On some sort of inspection tour I guess.
Too bad it was not David Gunn. I would have cheered & waved.

There is more light on the back of this car than the Amtrak locomotives have at the front. Safety First maybe?
