Western Railroad Discussion > Woodinville Sub's SW1200Date: 01/21/10 08:56 Woodinville Sub's SW1200 Author: M-420 Last week the Ballard Terminal began operations on the former BNSF Woodinville Sub. In between runs, they have been working on their SW1200 (ex Tacoma Rail, ex MP) returning it to full operation and completing the paint job
Here are a few shots of the unit in corporate colors with the "Eastside Freight" Lettering. Interesting how the lettering is in different locations on either side of the unit. They are running basically on the old BNSF schedule of Tuesday and Thursdays as those are the days that BNSF's Gold Bar turn drops cars for them at the Snohomish wye. If there are any cars to be returned to Snohomish, the crew runs to Maltby, then places the caboose in the lead then pushes to Snohomish as there is no runaround for them to use there. Here is a post I did last week with some addition info and photos. <http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,2099556,2100613#msg-2100613> Date: 01/21/10 09:08 Re: Woodinville Sub's SW1200 Author: RRmemories The silver underframe is different.
