Passed by this train once, how long has it been?

Somehow the end of that train is very fitting. Fred on the caboose, and the Rio Grande itself says just about all.

This photo was taken last week in Delle, Utah. A couple days later I saw the caboose in Wendover, so I think it serves the local there that goes out to the salt harvesters (Cargill and Morton). Anyone fill in the rest?

The caboose used to reside just north of Roper and was used
by the local guys for their shoves. Nice to see it out and
around.

I would call this a rare sight anymore because the windows haven't been blanked out with steel plate like most surviving hacks are nowadays.
