Impressive Show for a GP15-1
Author: fredkharrison

On my way back home from earthquake country today I caught lone GP15-1 CFNR 113 hauling a string of 39 empties northbound at 45 mph at Yolo, CA. I simply didn't have time enough to set up for a good shot, but here's the quick one I managed to take. I jumped back in my car to get another chance at Dunnigan, but the train stopped, probably at Dufour, and having no time to backtrack, this railfan went home a little disappointed.

I like the four lights on each side of the cab roof. Maybe something to do with early RCL.
Makes it look like hair standing on end.

Reply: Indeed! And the well played horn had my hair standing on end too.
