About 1:30 this afternoon I stopped on US20 just north of Corvallis (OR) to try to get some shots that I might be able to sell to TTX. Took a few, but probably nothing that good. A couple of miles toward Albany I'm just about to turn north and head home to Salem when I see a headlight coming. So I pull over and wait. Along comes P&W #2005 long hood forward hauling just a centerbeam and a boxcar, passing a string of what I think are woodchip cars on the spur.
