I'm not sure if the link works all the time. I tried it three times and twice it worked and once it didn't.

i know things are frantic and the crews are panicking but that's why we have emergency radio procedures in the books ... 1/2 of that conversation could've been eliminated had the crew member went through the proper emergency emergency emergency radio procedure ... in a highly volatile situation such as this event seconds and minutes are critical and could be the difference between a big disaster or a controlled relatively smaller one ... lucky they were able to communicate what needed to be done in time to contain the fire to the cars that were already on fire and burning and not having it domino from car to car ... all in all these crews did a heroic job in the face of disaster where they could've become part of the event and to limiting the event only to the disaster location ... these guys deserve MAJOR kudos for their efforts in a situation which they had no control of

the proper radio transmission for any emergency event is first "EMERGENCY EMERGENCY EMERGENCY" (that transmission requires all others using that radio frequency to stop their transmission and clear the frequency so whoever is calling the emergency can have sole use of the frequency ... after that transmission is spoken one is suppose to give their ID their location and a brief description for the emergency call ...

This was the audio from the 911 phone calls. Some were from crews on the trains and some were not from the RR. This is the not the RR radio audio recordings from the BNSF.

I would love to hear the RR radio recordings. I am sure the NTSB will get to hear them.

That is exactly what happened on the railroad radio transmissions, which were transcribed in this thread:
