Western Railroad Discussion > Special NS Coal Train in Alliance NebDate: 10/21/14 11:18 Special NS Coal Train in Alliance Neb Author: bnsf70mac Heard that there was is special Norfolk Southern coal train sitting in Alliance Nebraska. What is special is the train cars all have electric brakes on them. The motive power consist of a new Gevo, business car, then another NS unit. Hoping to get pictures later today. When I find out what mine it is headed to I will report it.

They come down the St. Joe sub from Lincoln and go to the Ft.Scott sub after passing through Murray Yard.
