La Grange, IL Action (Metra, BNSF, AMTK)
Author: zchcsse

Here is a clip I took last July while I was in Chicago visiting family. AMTK 42, the Veteran's locomotive, was on the point of the eastbound Carl Sandburg so I headed down to La Grange, IL for an hour to catch it. Before it showed up, 2 Metras and an eastbound BNSF crude oil train for CSX passed through. So enjoy some nighttime footage along BNSF's Chicago Subdivision, aka "The Racetrack".

Thanks for watching!

Great night time action video, Tom. Great catch on AMTK 42 as well.

Thanks for sharing,

Very pleasant video; feel like I'm there, swatting bugs.

One has to wonder why there are two units for four cars, and the Texas Eagle gets only one.
