Surf isn't a siding that gets much business.  The autos must be meeting a Surfliner.

While both shots are great, that second shot is killer!

In an old Perry Mason sev. nites ago...A southbound SP passenger train was leaving ? and the announcer called "For Paso Robles, etc.etc...SURF !!...etc etc..." WOW...I've been there and it was olviously the station stop for Lompoc...Steve

Was that the episode with a circus clown that begins when Perry, Della and Paul are in the audience when somebody gets shot?

There is another episode, different one, I think, where Tragg is on the stand testifying that the murder weapon in question was tossed from a train and found along the tracks in Carpinteria. I have that clip on my computer and can post it if anybody in interested. I always thought that was cool since I live in Carpinteria.

And those cops sure we're efficient to find a gun tossed from a train 75 miles north of LA. Must have been a dumb character for not tossing the gun in the ocean.
