Western Railroad Discussion > A 'boose is looseDate: 05/29/15 11:19 A 'boose is loose Author: wjpyper Former SP caboose #4734 has been hanging out at the Pringle Yard in south Salem, Oregon for years. It hasn't moved in months, maybe even years. When I drove by today I saw it coupled to the local switchers. Anybody know what is happening?

Date: 05/29/15 14:57 Re: A 'boose is loose Author: rrpreservation It hasn't been used as a shoving platform has it? I think the newness of the 4700 series SP cabooses make them popular for such use.
