Look out below... That regulator has got to be kicking ballast out beyond the bridge deck. Neat project. Mr. MRL Date: 06/30/16 04:41 Re: Two Bridges See Some Action Author: ns1000 VERY NICE....!!

If so, I will bet that BNSF will be quite happy to have this finished.

No it's not. There's still a strech of single track near Alva, OK, that's scheduled to be done next year. Then there's the Sibley Bridge over the Missouri east of Kansas City. I've been told there are plans in the works for this, but this will be a major project as the track needs to be realigned which means the old bridge will probably be removed. This will not hurt BNSF's feelings any as there are two SHARP curves on each end, one on the bridge itself, that will go. I did not hear about a timetable for this project. Nick Tharalson, Marion, IA Date: 06/30/16 17:07 Re: Two Bridges See Some Action Author: Coalca The short section of single track southwest Alva has a bridge on each end, with farmland on each side. It appears to be a significantly smaller project than Pecos, Vaughn, and Abo.
