Steam & Excursion > A unique tour

It looks like Strasburg is doing a hostling tour this year where people can learn about how they prepare the engines in the morning. A couple of guys I know are looking at doing this when they are in the area. It looks like fun.

Sounds to me like all the more reason to get to Strasburg!!

According to the SRR's Facebook page, however, there are currently no plans to schedule mixed freight trains this year. That's not to say that steam won't be pulling freight to/from the interchange - but as of now, there are no plans to have passengers riding the caboose.

That's my understanding - if someone else has heard differently (or someone who works for the railroad is a member here), feel free to correct me.
