This is a great time of year, and all over the country, folks are out doing all sorts of stuff to enjoy a Saturday afternoon.  But I can't imagine a better place to enjoy a fall afternoon than the right-hand seat of that locomotive.

Great shots Randy.  Good to have you and Joey on board.  Fun day.

What are the chances of repairing the rest of the line west of Salmonberry?

Mike, they intend to get to Enright, which will be a considerable job in and of itself. The next few miles over the top are a disaster area, so that's a lot less likely.

Just to be clear, we have already repaired the track more than 2  miles pas Salmonberry.  We just stopped at Salmonberry on this trip as that is what the charter operator wanted.

Past Foss RD (sp?)  I walked about 2-3 miles east of Foss Rd a few years ago. There were a couple washed out sections, but not as bad as the other end towards TImber.

Yes, past Foss Road.  The work was done in 2013 and 2014.
