RBM&N 425, Solo Song to Jim Thorpe
Author: tehachapi-dave

On Sunday October 16th, 2016.  For the first time ever, RBM&N 425 handled the RBM&N "Autumn Leaf" excursion with no diesel.  There was speculation as to whether or not the train would top the grade in between Tamaqua and East Mahanoy Jct.  The 425 successfully conquered the the grade, and made an impressive show doing so.  Once again, congratulations the R&N steam crew for operating one of the most impressive and reliable steam locomotives in the country!  Enjoy!

Your video is awesome. All the fine videos we are treated to on TO - 611, 261, CTS, 844. RBMN 425 probably is the best sounding locomotive of the bunch. It was also good to see the passenger load on this train. Thanks for posting!

What I like about that train: Great locomotive that operates as it should - with its headlight on, Train runs at a nice speed on what appears to be very good track, All the passenger cars have matching paint. Great video.

This is an outstading production. The engine and the videographer performed admirably.
