Then, the SP still cared. A lounge for Thanksgiving weekend. The lounge is four from the rear with the number plate. The automat is ahead of the lounge.

Yup. Trade-in fodder. We'd always watch the eastbound Valley trains coming through Glendale for what might be riding right behind the road power. John remembers.

Are we sure it's 1968?

Strapac lists the 6395 being retired on 2/27/69 and sold to EMD on 3/10/69, so it would've been shipped after that date.

Can you read the numbers on the other two units? The one ahead of the 6395 appears to be the 62-something.

Hey, don't be picky. I can't help it if my memory is gone. Besides, I think it is the 6398 and 6336. Couldn't read the number on the other one, even with the loop.
