Two photos taken the same day (August 30, 1996) and about two hours apart, below Heather siding on then SPs (soon to be UPs) Cascade line.

1 - ATK F40PH #233 and ATK #807 head toward Eugene with the Coast Starlight and it had an express baggage car on the end.
2 - Almost two hours later comes the SP C-1 work train with #4843 heading down the hill long hood forward with SP crane #8000, work gon, 3 air (side) dump cars and caboose #4702, one of the last cabooses built for the SP. It saw a lot of service on those work trains after the end of the caboose era.
