Photo history: More from 1964
Author: bandob

Continuing with my plan  to show over the year a selection of my photos gradually in historical order, here's some more from 1964. In August, the B&O Railroad Sponsored Iron Horse Days. Reading T1 #2100 and open window coaches came down and substituted for a number of regularly-scheduled Baltimore-Washington trains over the weekend. I rode one day and did photos the other.

1) Racing through Riverdale, MD.

2) On display between runs at Camden Station, Baltimore.

3) View from our open-window coach as the train backed around Bailey's Wye, heading into Camden Station. Capitol Limited dome and observation were for first-class passengers.

Nice photos. Did you take any of the Reading Company cars? Reading ended much of its locomotive hauled passenger service in this timeframe.

Great shot! Now I know what I can do with the Walthers B&O dome and observation cars.
