Recently on the Squamish Sub.

1. Today's train 546 rolls through West Vancouver in the rain with about 50 cars, near Mile 10.
2. I've started seeing these pipe loads coming south lately: they're labelled Baosteel, Shanghai, China. I'm guessing they come by ship to Squamish, then by rail from there.

Hello to LF...

Here are couple ways to transport pipe as well as the flats.

Seen on eastbound CP train ex Kamloops last week.
