St Lawrence & Atlantic
Author: FJ

Lewiston Jct Me-Richmond Qc,  St Lawrence & Atlantic 393  through the scenic Coaticook River Valley at Compton in the Eastern Townships of Quebec on Friday.   Unfortunately, the train was running late so,  by the time it went across the border, high clouds moved in.   Power was a trio of GP40's  Quebec Gatineau 3105 3102 and St Lawrence & Atlantic 3004

Great to see a set of power in a matching paint scheme on a shortline. It's a much better image to present to customers and the public than the dogs breakfast of rent a wrecks many roads have.

How often does the SL&A operate?   BSB

Two trains per day  along with a road switcher job on that former Canadian National line.  I agree, G&W paint scheme stands out. Thanks for the feedback.
