Chasing CN 327 to Huntingdon

Yesterday morning I was at Dorval. It was a beautiful day, and chasing CN 327 to Huntingdon is always a nice chase, so I said I would do that if 327 had an interesting lashup. He had CN 2428 leading, which qualifies it as interesting lashup in my books! He was through Dorval about 1120 and the chase was on. Here are 9 photos from this chase. I also chased CN 326 back, photos are in a thread from yesterday.

1-CN 327 has CN 2428 and 5643 as he leaves the island of Montreal, crossing the Ottawa River in the process.

2-Through Coteau-du-Lac.

3-After picking up CN 2230 and setting off some cars at Coteau, 327 is backing up on the Kingson sub so he can take the wye for the Valleyfield Sub.

7-Passing a crossing at MP 38.90 of CSXT's Montreal Sub.

8-Passing a feed mill in Huntingdon

9-Time to switch crews as a CN crewmember (in an orange vest) leaves the train for a CSXT crew just east of Lake Street in Huntingdon, Qc. The CN crew will take CN 326 back to Montreal.
